We have decided to use the Polygon network. It will give us the required flexibility and lower fees in comparison to Ethereum and other networks.

$WiFi is the utility token that will drive the WiFi Map ecosystem and provide digital access to the WiFi Map platform by means of a blockchain-based infrastructure. It will help us build new features and services, grow and nurture the WiFi map community, and ultimately bring us closer to giving people all over the world free internet access.

We are currently in the public sale stage and the token is not listed yet on de/centralized exchanges. We are actively working on getting it listed on more exchanges. More information will be available soon.

$WIFI token holders can redeem their tokens on the WiFi Map platform to obtain a number of services including eSIM data packages. Furthermore, $WIFI token holders have the possibility of handing back their data package in part or in full if they haven't used it yet, receiving a proportional amount of $WIFI in return. Any unused $WIFI tokens will be stored in the holder’s account for future use.

The value comes from the token’s utility, and the more demand there is for the token the higher its price will be. Demand will be driven by the ability to use it on the platform, so the more exciting features we add the higher demand will be.

How will it take token price fluctuations into account? The prices of WiFi Map services are fixed in US dollars and the number of tokens needed in order to access a product or service will depend on their current market value. It will be calculated in the app and you will immediately see how many $WiFi tokens are required to get each service.

Your points will stay where they are, and you will keep earning points as previously. $WIFI tokens are a different thing, and you will be able to see them in your profile section in the app.
